I know I say it every year, so why break tradition? I’m SOOOO ready for Fall! Not only do I love the cooler weather, but we usually get rain too and I love rain as well. I write better in the fall. I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because I want to be inside where it’s warmer, or maybe it’s that Christmas is around the corner. I’m not sure what the reason is, but I get a lot of writing done in the Fall and I am hoping that this year is no different. I am a bit rusty since I have not written for about a year, but I have been getting back into the daily writing and it feels good. I really want to get Stolen Sun published.

Even though I am writing daily again I have made a plan for a vacation day. It has been so long since we’ve had a good rain I have decided that on the first full rainy fall day, I’m taking time for myself and I’m going to stay in bed all day and watch Hallmark channel with a pot of tea. Other than that it is work, work, work until December. I always take December off for fun and family and I will not break that tradition.

So what else will I be doing this fall?  I’m going to make pillows. I already made pumpkin garland a couple of years back. I like to have something to do on weekends and evenings, so I’ve decided this is the project. I just finished a cross stitch that I started 3 years ago.  Obviously, I didn’t work on it consistently or it would have been done a lot sooner. Of course, I will also read since there are some great books coming out. And…I am already compiling my Christmas reading list!

Is it too early to start listening to Christmas music?
